Un calendario es una herramienta cultural para representar el paso del tiempo a través de una serie de eventos comunes y recurrentes. En la historia profunda de la humanidad, contemplar del cielo le permitió a los cazadores-recolectores coordinar sus acciones futuras y dotar de referencias temporales comunes lo que les había ocurrido. Por sus observaciones del sol, la luna, los planetas y las estrellas fue que los primeros humanos pudieron proyectarse colectivamente al futuro y construir la profundidad de su pasado.

A proposal to reconnect the passage of time with what happens in nature.

A calendar is a cultural tool that represents the passage of time via a series of common and recurring events. Since the dawn of human history, hunters and gatherers contemplated the skies to plan their activities and agreed on references to mark common events. Because they observed the Sun, the Moon, the planets and the stars, the first humans were able to collectively think about themselves in the future and reflect on their vast past.

Entre los elementos estables está, representada con el color amarillo, la distribución anual de horas de sol en nuestro archipiélago. Entre los que esperamos cambios significativos está la distribución relativa de la precipitación durante el año (ilustrada en la franja azul). Los meses de floración y fructificación de las 127 especies de árboles, arbustos y plantas nativas que Para la Naturaleza reproduce en sus cinco viveros están representados por las franjas magenta y verde, respectivamente. En el centro está el sol, rodeado de una elíptica que ilustra la órbita terrestre.

One of the enduring elements is the annual distribution of sunshine hours (shown in yellow) in our archipelago. We expect to see significant changes in the relative distribution of precipitation during the year (in blue). Also portrayed are the months of flowering (in orange) and fructification (in green) of the 127 species of native trees, shrubs, and plants that Para la Naturaleza reproduces in its five nurseries. In the center is the Sun, surrounded by an ellipsis that illustrates the orbit of the Earth.
