Ramdwin González-Otero is a designer and educator from Caguas, Puerto Rico. He takes a reflective and multidisciplinary approach to design, a quality he also brings to his brand strategy, development, and activation projects.

Ramdwin has been a faculty member at Ana G Mendez University’s School of Design and Architecture. He is co-founder of 404 Coffee and Beers. Beyond a food and beverage place, 404 is a place centered on a transversal design approach promoting a culture of creativity and a spirit of resistance allowing him to contribute to his local community. Ramdwin is also a partner and creative director at Tembol, a design studio with a think-tank approach.

Ramdwin's work is at the intersection of science, communication, and design. He has collaborated with design studios, private companies, and non-profit organizations. He was designer and communication consultant of Para La Naturaleza's (NGO) centered in promoting the goal of integrating society in the conservation of natural ecosystems. As part of his work leads the design of The Ecological Calendar as a cultural tool and a proposal to reconnect the passage of time with wath happens in nature. This calendar was awarded the silver medal at the Latin American Design Awards in Peru and came in as finalist in the Iberoamerican Design Biennial in Spain.

Since 2020, Ramdwin has partnered with the nonprofit Ciencia Puerto Rico (CienciaPR) to lead the design and creative direction of its public engagement with science projects Aqui Nos Cuidamos and CienciaCoLab. “Aquí Nos Cuidamos”, a multimedia education and community engagement project focused on prevention and wellness, was named 2021 Breakthrough of the Year in Science Engagement at Falling Walls Science Summit in Germany. The project was also selected for the Iberoamerican Design Biennial in 2022.
